As the self-appointed Chair and host of the most entitled and gratifying 'Notable Persons of Wormhole Space' list, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to this terrible thread in this terrible sub-forum. The following hosts the official and approved record of the most 'notable', 'famous', and 'notorious' members in the history of the wormhole community. The list is broken into sections based on the approval process, and is strictly adherent to Yulai Code 420-069-034, requiring all 'notable' applicants to be approved, judged, ridiculed, and cavity searched prior to admission into the great halls of this thread. Notable Persons of Wormhole Space Seconded Persons for 'Notability' Nominated Persons for 'Notability' Excommunicated Persons of 'Notability' The above sections indicate the 'Notable' persons' current standings within the 'Hall of Notable Persons', which is based on the following procedures for admittance and upkeep. To be admitted into this list, the a person must: 1. Be nominated by another individual for consideration and admission to the 'Nominated Persons of Notability'. Note: Self-nomination and appointment aren't allowed, and all candidates for the 'Notable' list must be neutrally nominated regardless of their impact or influence within wormhole space. 2. After nomination, a candidate must be seconded by another individual for advancement to the 'Seconded Persons of Notability' list. 3. Once admitted to the 'Seconded Persons' list, a voting slate is generated for community voting to occur. This voting slate is active for 7 days, or until a person has achieved 100 votes with a 75% or greater 'Yea' vote. Note: A 'Seconded Person' will remain on the list for the allowance of three voting periods. If after three voting periods they haven't achieved advancement to the 'Notable Persons of Wormhole Space' list, they are removed entirely, requiring a re-nomination and second for re-consideration. 4. After a successful community vote, the person is elected to the 'Notable Persons of Wormhole Space' list. Note: Any elected person is secured on the list for 30 days, afterwhich an appeal for their removal may be petitioned. This allows the community to discuss and petitioner may appeal to the community for the removal of the 'Notable' person. If the petition receives ten or more names, the 'Notable' person is subjected to another community vote for excommunication from the 'Notable Persons' list. If excommunicated, the 'Notable' person is positioned on the 'Excommunicated' list, and may file grievance or petition to attempt reinstatement to notability. This process is the same as the excommunication process. If an excommunication vote fails, the 'Notable' person is secured for another 30 days before a new petition may be filed.
